Job Description Job Description Insurance Account Specialist -Pay: $27-40/hr DOE -Location: Oxnard, CA Great benefits and perks -Position Summary The Insurance Account Specialist II supports Insurance Services by assisting with the development, administration, and growth of the insurance services. This role is responsible for managing insurance accounts, selling and servicing policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing expert guidance to members and internal staff. -Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Previous sales experience in personal lines, commercial, life, or health insurance. • In-depth knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and risk management practices. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Proven ability to manage client relationships and meet sales objectives. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Working knowledge of banking operations and regulatory compliance. • Ability to lead and mentor junior insurance staff. • Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills. • Proficiency with insurance systems, software, and industry-specific tools. • Strong organizational and project management skills. • Ability to accurately perform financial and mathematical calculations related to insurance and risk analysis. • Ability to read, interpret, and prepare professional business correspondence, reports, and presentations. -Education and Experience • High school diploma required. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in insurance sales and service, including commercial, health, and DMV-related services.
