Job Description Job Description We are partnering with a
well-established electronics manufacturing organization that
supports highly regulated, customer-driven products. This
Manufacturing Engineer plays a key role in driving continuous
improvement across SMT, electronic assembly, and test processes
while acting as a technical interface between customers, suppliers,
and internal engineering and quality teams. This role is hands-on,
process-focused, and deeply involved in new product introductions,
quality performance, and manufacturing optimization. Key
Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical interface between
customers and internal manufacturing teams Develop, implement, and
optimize SMT, electronic assembly, and test processes Support New
Product Introductions (NPI), including product readiness, control
plans, and inspection criteria Review customer documentation
(schematics, drawings, BOMs, test specifications) and manage
engineering changes Perform DFM/DFT reviews and support cost
estimates and quotations for new programs Lead failure analysis,
CAPA responses, and RMA reviews for customer-reported quality
issues Maintain and update PFMEAs, control plans, and quality
documentation Support supplier quality through audits, corrective
actions, and quality documentation Ensure manufacturing processes
meet customer requirements and applicable industry standards Create
and maintain work instructions, procedures, and documentation
supporting ISO-compliant manufacturing Analyze quality and process
data and present metrics during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
Identify and drive improvements related to productivity, cost,
quality, and safety Partner cross-functionally with Engineering,
Quality, Production, and Leadership teams Qualifications Bachelor’s
degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering,
military background, or equivalent experience 5 years of experience
in electronics manufacturing or manufacturing engineering Hands-on
experience supporting SMT and electronic assembly environments
(strongly preferred) Proven ability to manage multiple projects in
a fast-paced production setting Technical Knowledge & Skills Strong
knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-610, IPC-600, IPC-7711/21) and
J-STD soldering standards Experience working within AS9100, ISO
9001, and/or ISO 13485 quality systems Working knowledge of PFMEAs,
control plans, and continuous improvement methodologies Familiarity
with RoHS manufacturing processes and electronic components
Experience with validation and improvement tools (IQ, OQ, PQ,
GR&R, DOE) Strong documentation, analytical, and
cross-functional communication skills Schedule & Work Environment
Salary exempt role Fully onsite in a production electronics
manufacturing environment Start time varies between 5:00–7:00 AM
