the future. Northrop Grumman Weapon Systems Division, Advanced
Weapons Business Unit (BU) is seeking an experienced and dynamic
individual to join its team as the Advanced Weapons Systems
Operating Unit (OU) Manager of Contracts Administration 2 located
on-site in Northridge, CA. (This is not a full-time remote position
and requires the selected candidate to work on-site in Northridge,
CA). This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of
Contracts Administration for the OU and will support a robust
portfolio of programs and provide leadership to the Contracts team.
This position requires excellent oral and written communication
skills and regular interaction with various levels of executive
management to include various functional organizations throughout
the OU, BU, Division, and Sector levels. Essential Functions: This
position will provide leadership, support, professional
development, and training as needed in all aspects of the Contracts
discipline Builds and leads a team of highly motivated and
effective Contracts professionals to include training,
mentoring/guidance, directing daily activities, delegating work
assignments, and ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely work
assignment completion of direct reports who support the OU Manage
one or more major DoD contracts in an effective and efficient
manner, to include hands-on contract management for assigned
programs and proactive leadership in all areas of the contract
management function, including solicitation review, proposal
management, negotiations, contract administration, change
management enforcement, cash flow management and risk mitigation
Candidate is required to have in depth understanding of the
Department of Defense (DoD) regulations and commercial terms and
conditions to negotiate all types of United States Government,
commercial, and international contractual instruments, and
agreements The candidate will collaborate across functions to
advise and support competitive and sole source Request for
Proposals (RFPs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Teaming
Agreements and will need to have a working knowledge of
International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR) This position
will ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements,
and customer specifications The candidate will also be an advisor
to the OU and BU on contractual rights and obligations, to include
risk mitigation The candidate should be able to compile and analyze
data, maintain historical information, and engage in strategic
priorities as needed Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 8
years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6 years
relevant experience 2 years of management experience and
demonstrated people leadership and/or supervisory experience At
least 5 years of experience negotiating and administering various
contract types of varying sizes and types of agreements Expert
knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS
(Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement); as well as
experience with different contract types such as Cost Plus, Fixed
Price, etc. Thorough understanding of the requirements of
applicable Government regulations Strong proposal development
skills, solid negotiation skills, and excellent oral and written
communication skills at a leadership level Ability to obtain and
maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a SAP Must be able to work on-site
in Northridge, CA Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated people
leadership and/or supervisory/management experience Demonstrated
ability to effectively communicate with and influence others
Extensive proposal experience Experience working in
classified/sensitive environments Must possess excellent problem
solving and decision-making skills that support accomplishment of
discipline objective to resolve complex problems and minimize risk
to the Corporation Ability to work independently and make
independent decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with
stakeholders and subject matter experts Proficient in Excel,
PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc. Primary Level Salary Range:
$133,100.00 - $199,700.00 The above salary range represents a
general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of
factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
(PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The application period
