The mission of the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) is to provide for the socio-economic betterment of the greater Latino community of California, while preserving the pride, values and heritage of the Mexican American culture.Title: Human Resources ManagerSalary: $80,000/annualSummary of Responsibilities:Reporting to CHRO. Assist in strategy planning, employee & dispute resolution, advisory services for employees, prepares & reviews job descriptions, provides policy interpretation, assist with managing the Human Resources Department and staff. Participate in the development & implementation of the organization's policies & procedures that will contribute to overall success. May represent agency in personnel related hearings and investigations.Qualifications:--- BA degree in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or related field, required.--- Minimum five (5) years Human Resources experience.--- Minimum two (2) years supervisor experience.--- Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.--- Ability to communicate in written and oral English correctly and effectively.--- Excellent computer skills--- Bilingual English and Spanish, required.--- Ability to assure the confidentiality of all information and MAOF personnel records.--- Must possess own vehicle at all times, a valid California Driver's License and appropriate automobile insurance.--- Ability to drive and travel.--- Ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.MAOF is committed to a diverse workforce.
