Accountant/Accounting Manager
Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Strong organizational skills
  
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  
• Proficiency in Cargowise software is advantageous
  
• Bachelor s degree in accounting
  
• 3-5 years experience in accounting
  
• Strong analytical skillsKey functions of the position and not limited to the following only are as follows:
  
  • Maintaining Financial Records : Keeping accurate records of financial transactions, including cash book, ledgers, journals, fixed assets list and other documentation.
    
  • Reconciling Accounts: Ensuring that all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved.
    
  • Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable : Handling invoices, payments and collections.
    
  • Invoice Posting: Post all AP invoices.
    
  • Preparing Payment: Issue payment to COD creditor, monthly office expenditure e.g. Internet, electricity, rental, janitorial, Director and staff expense remimbursement claims
    
  • Assisting with Payroll: Supporting payroll processing and ensuring accurate employee compensation.
    
  • Data Entry : Entering financial data into accounting software and systems.
    
  • Supporting Audits: Assisting with external audits by providing necessary documentation and information as needed.
    
  • Accounts Receivable: Close monitoring of accounts receivable and engaging sales, operations and management as needed in collection efforts.
    
  • General Administrative Tasks : Performing other administrative duties as needed, such as filing, answering phones, managing correspondence and supporting needs from management from time to time.***Position comes with attractive salary and benefits for the qualified candidate.
