Senior Counsel – Los Angeles, CA A premier multi-state law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel with 7 years of Business and General Liability Litigation experience to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated matters with a collaborative team while maintaining work-life balance. The firm offers a competitive salary and bonus structure, a reasonable 1750-hour billable target, and a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office). Partner track consideration is available after two years. Responsibilities: Independently manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence Lead legal strategy and case planning in coordination with partners Conduct and defend depositions, attend mediations, and represent clients in court Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing strategic legal guidance Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals Contribute to business development and client relationship management initiatives Qualifications: 7 years of civil litigation experience, ideally with exposure to business litigation and general liability Active member in good standing with the California State Bar JD from an ABA-accredited law school Proven ability to manage litigation files independently from start to finish Experience managing junior associates and/or litigation teams Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills What the Firm Offers: Competitive compensation with generous performance-based bonuses Reasonable billable hours: 1750 target to support work-life balance Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with matching Professional expenses paid: bar dues, CLEs, memberships, and parking Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office Partner track opportunity after two years Supportive, growth-oriented culture with a strong reputation in litigation If you're exploring a career move and want to learn more, contact Carolina Ries at carolina.ries@gogpac.com or call/text 605-679-4241 .
