Job Description Job Description Summary / Purpose Under general supervision, the Warehouse & Inventory Control Supervisor (W.I.C.S.) is responsible for coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities. This role works closely with the team in receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations in accordance with SOP requirements. The W.I.C.S. is also responsible for daily inventory control activities, ensuring accuracy in management reporting software and maintaining appropriate material and product stocking levels. Essential Functions Inventory Control Perform inventory system transactions from receipt of material through finished goods Conduct physical inventory counts and process necessary adjustments Update Inventory Transaction Logs and complete related data entry Investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and inventory control systems and make corrections in management reporting software Communicate inventory discrepancies to production and purchasing Maintain shelf-life reports and oversee stock rotation Complete lot traceability paperwork Read, understand, and follow procedures Work independently to perform daily operating tasks Evaluate and update existing processes to improve efficiency and SOP compliance Maintain and update departmental procedures and documentation Maintain effective interaction with vendors, contractors, and internal teams Ensure adequate inventory levels in coordination with purchasing and production Shipping & Receiving Supervise shipping and receiving employees Make decisions and/or recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, and performance evaluations Train new and existing employees on proper domestic and international shipping and receiving procedures Support shipping and receiving operations during high-volume periods or staffing shortages Ship products using multiple carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL) for domestic and international shipments Work with carriers to secure best shipping rates Coordinate with contractors for LTL trucking, couriers, and freight services Oversee receipt and storage of production materials and finished goods Schedule freight pickups and deliveries, including specialized shipments General Duties Maintain clean, safe, and orderly warehouse storage areas Perform required secondary operations Be present in the workplace during scheduled work hours Marginal Functions Maintain forklift certification Participate in other work functions as directed Physical Demands Stand and walk regularly Use hands for handling, grasping, pushing, and pulling Reach with hands and arms frequently; occasionally reach overhead Lift and carry up to 40 pounds Work around equipment and machinery in a clean room environment Meet normal 20/20 vision requirements (with corrective lenses if needed) Qualifications & Requirements Education High School diploma or equivalent Skills Manual dexterity Ability to read, understand, and accurately complete documentation in English Effective verbal communication in English Ability to work in an FDA cGMP-regulated environment Flexibility with changing daily priorities Accuracy and consistency in a fast-paced, multi-task environment Strong organization and attention to detail Interpersonal and problem-solving skills Basic math skills using American and metric measurements Ability to operate a standard computer keyboard Strong multitasking and prioritization skills Experience Shipping logistics, receiving, and inventory control experience required Basic Windows computer knowledge required
