Job Description Job Description Purchaser & Inventory Associate Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser & Inventory Manager to oversee procurement activities while maintaining accurate and efficient inventory levels for specific categories BTI offers. This role is responsible for sourcing vendors, negotiating pricing, placing purchase orders, and ensuring inventory is tracked, stocked, and optimized to support business operations. Key Responsibilities Purchasing & Procurement Source, evaluate, and manage from existing suppliers and vendors Negotiate pricing, terms, and track delivery schedules Create and process purchase orders Monitor vendor performance and resolve supply issues directly with suppliers Ensure purchases align with budget and demand forecasts Inventory Management Track inventory levels and maintain accurate records Monitor stock usage and reorder points Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations Coordinate receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory Reduce excess stock, shortages, and waste Reporting & Coordination Prepare purchasing and inventory reports Collaborate with operations, finance, and sales teams Maintain documentation and compliance with company policies Improve processes for cost efficiency and inventory accuracy Qualifications Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Experience with inventory management or ERP systems High attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Excel and basic reporting tools Preferred Skills Experience forecasting demand Knowledge of logistics or warehousing operations Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Working Conditions Office and/or warehouse environment May require occasional lifting and counting of inventory Location of office: 16651 E Johnson Drive, City of Industry, CA 91745 Office hours: Open Monday - Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm Benefits: Opportunity to work closely with leadership and make a meaningful impact.
